I just had to post up what I have made for the newest member of our family. Baby Rudi is so young that she won't know if it is Christmas or Easter, but I thought she needed some little chicks anyway.
I used some excellent felt I bought from Laura over on Bugs and Fishes. The colours are just right for these cute little birds. Then I decided they needed a crocheted fabric nest. I broke my hook making it as I'd never crocheted with fabric before. But I think it was worth it as they look very cosy all nestled together.
There was even enough fabric left over to make another slightly smaller nest as an annex. Now I just need to make three more little chicks. Soon I'll have enough to start breeding them!

Those are cute cute cute!

Thanks for linking to this, Fiona! It's always so nice seeing what people have been making with my felt :) Would it be okay for me to include this photo in my next "show and tell" blog post?

Just found your blog via Bugs and Fishes blog and wanted to say how cute your little birdies are! Also loving your packaging rants :-)
