On Friday I made two hanging copper hares. One was for a friend's birthday and this other one is destined for my Folksy shop later in the week.
The hare is made from beaten and fired copper. I love the way the oxidation adds to the form and really makes it look alive.
The eye is a silver drop and the hare hangs on a 8.5in silver (plated) chain and measures 4.5 inches from back foot to front foot.
I also made a little copper bird but haven't managed to photograph him yet.

i absolutely love it! i'd love to see the bird one, too! :)
