For quite a while now I've been wanting to try to make a felted pod but have had the confidence to give it a try. On Thursday Angela Barrow put up a tutorial on her blog for exactly the type of thing I wanted to aim for.
And today I managed to put aside the time to make it. I am so pleased by the way that it has turned out that I can feel a few more variations coming on.

I love the colours, and the stalk/tail it's just beautiful.

Getting more organic looking by the day, they are lovely. I have the feeling that if you leave them up in the trees, they will be nested in or raided for nest material.
