The woods where I walk the dog every morning are a mass of wild garlic flowers.
There really must be a simple recipe I could make with them. I'm sure I saw someone making wild garlic pesto but I can't remember who.
But for now I'll just be content with feasting my eyes upon that magnificent white carpet of blooms and breathing in the wonderful scent.

And doesn't it smell delicious? I was thinking of trying to make a wild garlic soup with potato and onion.

You could always shred some leaves and add them to mashed potato, scrumptious. Or here is a a pesto recipe http://www.rivercottage.net/recipes/wild-garlic-pesto/
You can also add the flowers to a salad, they add a subtle flavour to the dish.
