At the weekend I made the first of the orders I took at Aldborough Creative for some hats. I do apologise that this is turning into a hat blog but that seems to be where I am heading (ha ha) at the moment.
This one is using a Merino blend and some dyed Gotland curls from Sara's Texture Crafts. I just hope my buyer likes it. She can always trim the curls if she finds them too extrovert. I'll let you know what she says.
It is utterly gorgeous, love the little curls. I expect your buyer will love them too. Commissions now - well done!

I received my wonderful custom made hat today.. am wearing it as I write. So comfortable. Fits perfectly and has had many admirers (that hat!).
I wouldn't be too theatrical to say that I've waited all my life for this hat. And, yes I'm not 'old', but I'm no spring chicken either. Wonderful. Thanks Fiona
